Detective Betty Perrick dominates everyone she encounters and she apologizes to no one. Her personal style exudes a mature sexiness that verges on predatory. She dresses 20 years too young for her age, wears too much makeup, believes in plunging necklines in the workplace and chain-smokes her way through interrogations even though there’s a city ordinance against it. Her mood swings are so volatile she can play good cop and bad cop simultaneously. Fellow detectives refer to her as “Medea with a badge”.
